Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new user gets 30 minutes of free recording and transcription time with no credit card required. Simply add NotesBot to your server and type /join in any voice channel to start.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Your recording hours reset at the start of each billing cycle. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from Discord using the /subscribe and /cancel commands.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Absolutely. Use the /subscribe command to change your plan at any time. When you upgrade, your new hours are available immediately. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Do all team members need their own subscription?
No. One subscription covers the entire Discord server. Any member can start a recording with /join, and the hours are shared across the server under the subscribing user's account.
What happens if I run out of hours?
NotesBot will let you know before you start a recording if you don't have enough time remaining. You can upgrade your plan at any time to get more hours, or wait for your billing cycle to reset.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods supported by Stripe, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.
